Another sighting of the family on Friday. The EA are going to be felling some Alders and pulling out 2 collapsed willows upstream and we requested for them to leave the larger bits of timber at our yard so we can create otter holts.

Haven't read the whole thread due to my work computer being as slow as paint drying so apologies if this has already been covered. I just read in the internation express that Otters are now back in all counties in England for the first time in years. This is fantastic news and here's hoping that we can do the same for several other species nearing extinction.

Beautiful Matt. You're very lucky!

I was fortunate enough to see one in the Camel Estuary in north cornwall a few years ago. I saw a silver flash, which was the huge fish (probably bass) it had caught. We watched it for about five minutes before it swam off.

Its sittings like this that really makes our job worthwhile - things the average town / city desk jockey misses and would never appreciate:thumbup:

This years sitings. We have the full family this year. 2 mothers both with 2 cubs each and one dog who stays further down river.:thumbup:
