Beech Stem

Hi

 

I've got a beech stem that I want to sell as its too good to disc. Its about 12 foot diameter and 20 foot long, perfectly straight with no unions or cavities.

 

Its in lancashire, does anyone know where I can sell it or some one that will buy it.

Sorry yes circumference, having a special moment.

 

Its near preston, still stood up and is roadside. I unfortunately can't load it and sure what the value of it is. I was hoping someone could help.

Sadly beech isn't worth much to furniture makers these days unless it's very flamed or spalted. Additionally, 12 inch diameter is very small.

 

You would make more money firewooding it.

Is it not better to let it go for nowt, than spend hours ringing it up and carting it away???

I would have been interested but it is too far from me. If it is 3rd diam then it would be a great shame to ring it up for logs. Any photos?
