I'm near Woking and did my PTI recently with Land Skills Training in Dorking. Course tutor was Guy Watson who covered the course content extremely well, and put it across in an easy to understand manner as well.

Does anyone know other than the AA one being run end of November if there is another course being run before the end of the year as the AA is a lot more expensive than others.

Thanks

Just passed my PTI course with Dale Valley Training. You should give themn a shout as I believe they will run a course on numbers of interested people. Excellent tutor and great set-up down there. Maybe a bit of a trek but well worth it.

Did the tech cert couple of years ago but not had much opportunity to get surveying experience, still clambering about trees with a saw....wondering if this course might be out of my reach considering lack of surveying and report writing? any advice much appreciated??

The course content gives you the info requiered for the test. Revision of fungal fruiting bodies and tree species is required prior to the course unless you are already proficent. Go for it.
