I started doing reserch yesterday on my local competitors, most are calling a builders bag a cubic meter, no idea on moisture so you might guess its wet, price around £90 a bag. A builders bag is usually .6 cu m so that makes £130 a cu meter!!>

I am going to attempt to sell both builders bags and vented m3 bags so as to provide a comparable sized product to my competators who all seem to sell builders bags and say its a cube.

I'm going to be offering my great logs (they are damned good hardwood and seasoned to under 20% moisture) at:

£80/m3 collected

£105/m3 delivered within county

£125/m3 delivered nationwide

Firewood isn't my main business so I'm not fussed if it sells or not at that price. I've priced to the cost of product, the cost of production and then added a little for my sweat and toil.

I am going to charge £90.00 a cube, £125 for 1.5m3, less profit than last year but cant bring myself to charge any more.

But would your electricity or gas company be so community minded? I think not unfortunately.
