do you stack logs for customer or not thanks

nearly all my logs are delieverd,carried and stacked but i only do that cos no one else was and i know i get a lot of work because of it. plus a lot of people round here have to have them dumped in the road.

Only if they pay £20 per hr but try not to. Allowances made for age ability and distance to shed. The last lot I stacked got me cash, tea and 4 cans from a happy client.

Got to admit, i'm a sucker for the elderly.

 

had a 2 cube delivery on saturday, the old dear came hobbling out.

 

"just tip them there young man, and i'll move them round the back ( about 15' ) over the weekend. Heres your cash, would you like a cup of tea ?"

 

by the time she'd got back with the tea, me and my 12 y/o daughter had stacked half the load..

 

get me every time......

I will do it if my customers ask, but I dont offer. And then I will only stack if my bro is with me or the customer helps and I charge £20 for the privalage. ITs the time it takes that I hate. And some people take the piss, like steve said, oh can you stack in my shed please......you have to go through the garage.......over the rabbit run.......through the gate, which u have to shut each time to stop 3 dogs getting out......

we only stack in the summer months for deliveries when we're quiet and charge £15, during winter as steve says, too busy
