had to have a little bimble round whippendell today after monkey posted so many.

 

A new species for me, the eyelash fungus-

Beech very well decayed remains of a butt riddled with G. pfiefferi, went back for a better shot with a tripod, here @ ISO80 and F8:thumbup:

and a first for Inonotus cuticularis on beech within whippendell, tree and fungi recorded today as part of my masive survey i just started.:thumbup:

As partr of my continued organising my epic catalouge of images I cam across this one from back in june 09, the later june 11

 

Just makes me realise how the forest moves more rapidly than we may give it credit for.:001_cool:
