The hassle is putting together the biomass manual - it just takes time and patience. WoodSure send you a template manual which you can tweek to suit your needs.

 

Once the manual is submitted, WoodSure arrange the audit - I was audited by Bill Massey from HETAS. The auditors are not out to trick you, just make sure you have processes in place that can be checked. He carried out pin meter moisture content check onsite and took samples of the two sizes of logs that we sell with him to carry out oven dry moisture content checks, which are part of the audit. (Our barn dried firewood pin checked at 16 & 18%, the oven dry check in a lab showed 12 & 14%.

Logs are slow moving here, 20 cube down on what i was this time last year,wish this cold weather would hurry up, if there is any on the way that is........

Cleared 114 cube so far most to regulars will not pick up till November when all the weekend warriors sell out. Bring on the cold
