I just love the mentality of farmers.

 

They think they can do anything, know it all and do it the best of anyone, but when it all goes wrong there was a real good excuse lined up!

I know the farmer mentality. Two generations before me were farmers! It's not good to be around when stuff needs to be done delicately!

Those hicks will still be congratulating themselves on saving a couple of hundred quid.

 

The repairs to the loader won't count because it will be on the farm account.

Well that was a bloody stupid idea. Then again i've seen many examples of farmer's felling cuts and even when they don't use machinery they're just as likely to injure themselves.

Yeah they ara but alot of fun aswell was in a 2.8 tonne few weeks ago had it resting on it blade all the way down and the tracks at the back were 5' in the air came crashing down and I bounced if the rood won't do that again !

How did you manage to roll that mini digger in your avatar ?

 

it just fell over! i honestly don't know why it went over! the ground was on a very slight slope and i had been working there for an hour or so with no trouble. then all of a sudden..... brown pants!

 

i can only put it down to a combination of narrow tracks, slight slope, and the position of the digger arm. Scared me because there was no obvious reason and needless to say, i stay away from narrow tracked mini diggers now!
