Has anyone else still got the fire lit

Got my Bullerjan on almost all of the time. When it's 13-14c during the day and 11-12 at night, it's just not warm enough not to. The new house has a much better layout than the old one, so heat dissipates throughout the house, meaning no central heating is needed, and the living room doesn't get too warm.

 

That said, it's still too warm for trousers!

Got mine going flat out, Labrador is as far away as she can be and the wife is down to her pants in 25 mins. This years wood is good to go!

Just fired ours up tonight, getting a bit nippy out there. We have mother in law living downstairs, she has MS and feels the cold so I'm surprised we have got this far without the heating on. Some nice seasoned oak is poking out some heat.

No, I have a different one for the pool, it works really well (had the pool at 31 degrees over the school holidays) but it need split logs.

 

My intention is to move the big boiler nearer the pool and use it to heat the pool through the summer, I intended to do it this year, but was to busy with work, so its next years job now.
