Has anyone else still got the fire lit

Not tonight. Had it on fri/sat/sunday though just to dry me out after a wet couple of days

Ours is going to be lit every night now till Sept. Nice during the day- cold crisp mornings, blue sky, down to a t-shirt by around 11am.

 

Gets bloody cold on a evening, always nice to have the fire lit. Good reminder of how lucky we are not to have to buy firewood. Getting more expensive every year!

We usually run it for 3 months over winter, say 12 weeks a year.

 

My wife works at the hospital so likes it warm. When I've been working outside in the cold all day it's roasting when I get home!

Soon be eight months that I have had it lit.

Still having fires most evenings. Outside temperature has not been above 10c for several days and already beginning to forget what the sun looks like after a nice but cold spring. Only the sycamore is in full leaf here, hard to believe we are half way through May
