  1. I have seen people rave about these bars, what is the difference between them and an ordinardy Oregon powermatch bar for instance ?
  2. cant even read mine, taped with different colours at 4.9,6.2, and 8.1 for easyness
  3. too right,we had snow up here yesterday, will it ever go away this year, arghhhh
  4. possible Spanish chestnut ?
  5. aye pretty common up here in the north,on first name terms with most of them lol
  6. what kind of money are the cutters on at sse, anyone know ?
  7. re harvester chappy - a dead trout wedged behind the air filter will soon get him out the cab lol
  8. chapping trees over all day every day takes it toll,if you dont hit the yellow oregon ones bang on they will crack rendering them dangerous, carrying a steely about all day isnt an option when on real steep ground, currently got some stihl ones which are pretty good it has to be said
  9. got a husky 365 a couple of years ago, bloke said it was seized, starter rope had wrapped round the flywheel somehow, fixed in no time, tidy saw for £45 quid
  10. on a side note, anyone tried the platic inserts for the hi lift wedges ?
  11. does anyone know what these are like, are they like those lethal yellow oregon ones that crack and nearly take your head off when they break or more like the stihl orange ones that take a fair bit of abuse before needing replaced ?
  12. cheers mate, will check it out
  13. the hook isnt the best right enough, tried it upside down and ended up skidding down a steep bank into a burn, just feel i cant really put all my effort into it without it slipping out
  14. lad that was working with us had his crank break with the clutch sheering completely off on his 560,i think it was a 2012 model from memory
  15. i was thinking about that but didnt want to make a complete balls of it,if i grind the lip off and put a couple of v's on the front edge that should do the trick hopefully
  16. what would be the best one on the market just now,its the longer one im after,130-140cm,i currently have an oregon one but im not impressed with the slightly downward lipped edge on the front of it,its to easy to slip out if leaned down on when on steeper ground, any info would be helpful
