I consider myself lucky enough, to have met a number of the Royal Family on quite a few occasions. I have nothing but admiration for them, they pull their weight. And I know for fact, that Harry has done a few weeks in the forestry business and worked as hard as anyone, so maybe he could just lend a hand to do the leylandi.

My Late Uncle Charles was a very good friend of Prince Charles, being implicit in setting up the Princes trust organisation, and I can only report that they are down to earth decent people through and through, with genuine concerns for the welfare of the nation and humanity.

high light of my day whilst topping a hawthorn hedge was seeing euro fighters and tornadoes buzzing me.. Hope all the people watching had a great day.

Where you working Matty ?

I was trying to work out where they were heading after they buzzed past us in North London heading kinda north east.

Thought perhaps the tornados & typhoons were heading upto Marham in Norfolk.

Not so sure about the oldies, Duxford maybe :confused1:

In my opinion, he is a top bloke, I first met him in my early twenties and he has, as I used to put it, the ability to talk to princes or paupers, his interests in the flora and fauna of our countryside, the crafts and skills, and the people who work in it, are heartfelt and sincere. And his two sons are in the same vein, definately more modern, but sound never the less.

I was lucky enough to meet Prince Charles when he opened the technology block at our Grammar School. From what I remember, genuinely warm manner about him; sincere and not at all patronising.

Ive at least one conservation/nature book with a foreword by HRH, not that I can remember which, and remember vividly the TV spot he did about the plight of our farmers.

Funny really to think that his two sons are the kind of lads Id probably get on well with, again proving its not what youve got, it's how you are that counts.

really refreshing to remember that not all those in positions of influence are two faced twerps :)
