what royal wedding:confused1::lol:

its not a bank holiday but a public holiday, tis all in the terminology meaning some employers don't have to give their staff the day off paid (i think) or something to that effect

There was another post on this a while back. Yes it is an extra bank holiday, but you can take it out of the other paid holiday pool so there isn't actually any extra days holiday over the year - still 5.6 weeks per year paid.

And yes you're right you dont have to take/or give it off, but hey the sun is shinning its May Day on Monday and it'll make a nice long weekend.

And yes I have already forgotten how many days we lost over the winter but I'm beyond caring.:001_tt2:

I'm actually really looking forward to it, and me and my wife are going to recreate our wedding day in minute detail:

A lie in, then to the reg office to meet our best man and best friend, got married to Marley then chips in the park with the four of us to celebrate.

The wedding night......

we slept!.... Well I did, she had to go and wee every 3 minutes as loaded up with twins.

Would anyone like to come and line the streets where I live, you're all welcome
