Jensens feed well when the rollers are new, but because the rollers are cast, the loose there edge very quickly.

 

thats why they need to put vertical teeth on them like a shark rips flesh, i mean..sharks dont just have one big bloody flat edged tooth, they got multiple fangs

is that the one with the molded hopper that cant be shut. looks like about 5 inch infeed? I tried that one for a few days, couldn't believe Jensen made it.

The problem with the chute is that with it on, the machine is over the 750 kg weight limit for unbraked trailers. So even if you have the licence to tow the bigger trailers, you still fall foul of the law.

 

All the mods on that jensen to get it down to 750kg are indicative of the fact that it was never built with the UK market in mind. Whereas the TW was purpose built with that in mind, so you get brakes, a sensible fuel tank, chute stays on, and a flywheel the size and weight of a bone china tea plate.

by TW do you mean timberwolf, the build quality is terrible compared with Jensen or Schleising. i reckon you could drop a Schleising off the white cliffs of Dover onto the rocks below and it'd still work, albeit that you'd be chipping seaweed and the odd bit of driftwood.

People dont have grandads rights when it comes to using a chainsaw, but see no problem in obtaining the right tickets for that...

i contract to 2 companies who own tw, and their machines and they've never played up when ive been on site
