i am using it more than i thought i would,it was fitted when i bought the mog, and they have done a realy good job .it opens from the side on a gas strut, the ladder is solid and they put a step on the mirror so you feel quite secure. it holds 2 climbing kits, rigging kit , poles, big shot, blower and still with room to spare.

Does sound good! I scored a ladder from a power company and have often thought of using it.I reckon it might be a great solution to storing lowering gear and large saws etc.

The problem with the chute is that with it on, the machine is over the 750 kg weight limit for unbraked trailers. So even if you have the licence to tow the bigger trailers, you still fall foul of the law.

All the mods on that jensen to get it down to 750kg are indicative of the fact that it was never built with the UK market in mind. Whereas the TW was purpose built with that in mind, so you get brakes, a sensible fuel tank, chute stays on, and a flywheel the size and weight of a bone china tea plate.

Pay your money and take your choice.....

Jensen have just made a 750 kg unit just for the uk market. It has a 30 hp kubota turbo engine, braked chassis metal light board, folding hopper. It is shorter than the standard A530DI. So it is a very compact unit and has all the heavy duty features of the Standard A530DI.If anything it picks up quicker than the standard unit because of the turbo.
