I've bid on a few Parts Washers on eBay for the rebuild of this Rover V8 of mine but been too tight to win. But yesterday I was contacted by a chap in Abingdon whose had sold for more than I wanted to give, his buyer had not turned up so I could have it at my price! RESULT!

Glod one Pete! I take it you'll pick the items up in person as I've heard of these sorts of things before on ebay, where the seller offers a second chance to all the bidders in the hope he gets payment from most before he does a runner :sneaky2:. If the items are going to be paid for over the net so he can post them, then get him to list them with a buy it now for you to purchase, that way your coverd by paypal :thumbup1:.

Ebay is great sometimes. It used to be a place where it was all cheap tat with the odd goodie thrown in. Now it's all shops selling stuff at higher prices with lots of cheap tat and almost no goodies!

I bought a rope grab off there for £10.50 and £5 postage. It was very worn. So I decided to put it back on eBay and it went for £39!
