Has anyone ever emailed Pfanner and told them?

 

Pfanner are aware that there was a small amount with a problem and replaced them FOC when a zip broke, they are now coming through with new zips and we don't seem to have a problem with them.

 

The SIP Ultra-fits took a while to get out there, but we are now having a good response from those using them.

Can get stihl branded, N.Z made trousers for around $170 AUD ,**** knows how many pounds that is..

I got 4 pairs of Hi-Flex for £100 from a mate of mine who works at a generic Electricity line clearance company, so I'll be sticking with Stihl for a little while yet. haha

ive had 2 pairs of hiflex and will not be buying another. the fabric is poxy.

The new inner fabric in the latest hiflex is the same uncomfortable cheap crap they use in their forest wear.

I hate that stuff its like wearing plastic onion sack on yer legs.

The originals had decent quality lined polycotton.

I'm looking for a new pair of chainsaw trousers. Thinking of getting some strech airs. I'm think of getting the extremes are they much heavier? Worth the exta money?

i have several stretch airs and would not have a pair of extremes

i can not see any advantage

but loads of dissadvantages

hotter

costlier

not as flexible

not as pretty

just my opinion

i hav sip ultrafit type c trousers, not used them yet but ive got skinny legs so im sure il b fine lol. im led to believe the new stretchair gladiator trousers are damn near indistructable lol lad a clarks engineering took a wire brush 2 them and didnt even mark them, they are also water proof and priced somewhere around 205 quid incvat

go with stretch airs, so comfortable and yeah a bit heavy which is due to the kevlar knee and ankle pads, but no thorn is gonna get through that. + low crotch = gangstar .

My stretch airs still going after a year no tears nothing my hiflex were crap crap crap wear out so fast outer material is rubbish exhaust burns right through them.

 

SA are maybe a tad heavier but nothing that will bother any one they just last like 200 quid trousers should last.
