what would you pay someone for day rate for forestry work

Hi there

 

Just picking peoples brains, i was just wondering what you think a hand cutter should be paid on date rate, ive been doing forestry work now for just over two months and lately the contractor has been putting me on a day rate i do a minimum of 9 and a half hours a day and provide my own saw fuel and all other equipment??

I get £50 a day for 9 and half 10 hour day, but today i did 11 hours but the pay stays the same and i like to think i work hard and earn my wedge but once youve taken fuel and oil off it dosnt leave me with much
