we live in a quiet road, most of the residents have lived here since the year dot,

anyway yesterday 1 of the elderly resident, her husband died last year, got taken into hospital, got her medicine mixed up, both good friends of the family.

Low and behold her house gets broken into last night while still in hospital, all her jewelery safe broken into, and cash gone.

As she was not very mobile, the doors all had seccurity password codes, u couldnt get in without her opening them or knowing the code and Its a dead end road, not as if passing cars would see her going away in the ambulance.

Somebody somewhere has given someone the nod.

Its not Gaddaffi thats needs a scud missile:thumbdown:

That makes me so mad to hear things like that!!! The most vunerable members of our society should be taken care of, not victimised by some theiving scrote who will no doubt get sod all for this poor woman's jewellery. I bet it must have had lots of sentimental value for her as well, far more than it's monetary worth.

I hope she recovers quickly and doesn't end up fearing and mistrustful of everyone.
