Without doubt.... the biggest waste of money in my arb business career so far.

I'm tied into spending £111 pounds a month until nov and will not be renewing under any circumstances.

Local ads work better

Don't waste your time or money... and don't be swayed by their sales pitch "we will generate such and such work and calls a week/month" and "you can't miss out, as all your competitors are in the YP"

I have recieved exactly ZERO calls from the yellow pages and really wish I hadn't bothered!

I haven't bothered this year. They told me my advert last year was a waste of money down the phone and I needed to spend more money for a better advert. If my advert was a waste of money why did they sell it me in the first place and say it would be amazing. :sneaky2:

waste of time and money for me also!!!when I told them I wasn't bothering a few years ago, they hit me with all the stats.... 1000's of people looked at my web site this month.... blah blah blah.

Wow that's amazing all those people and not one phone call:thumbdown:

why they haven't gone under i don't know. Anyone who advertises in there is daft, waste of money, Google and local adverts is the way forward now and has been for a few years.

I ask every enquiry where they got my number from and I monitor the conversion rate and trends.

I found that EVERY yellow pages punter wants the cheapest possible price, ask them, they even admit it, so I now respectfully decline from visiting.

I now spend my money on checkatrade (very successful) and my extra time on Arbtalk.
