ive looked at the pile of wood, everyday for a few weeks now!!!! once those clocks change we will get cracking, annoying neibours at 8.00pm sounds far more fun than packing up at 6.30pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been selling logs for tha past 4 years and to the point i had to bye a hydro logsplitter, there is a good demand for split wood at the mo , i sell more and more every year, only thing is if we have a big old storm like the one in the late 80s you wont be able to give it away.. sell it while you can:biggrin::thumbup:

A good point. Like the saying 'risk not thy whole wad' or in other words dont buy too much cordwood. If there was a storm I think the demand would soon mop it up and someone still has to process it safely especially with all the h&S awareness now.

I cant remember which alder or elder one of them wont burn easily. Looked like nice wood though

 

Burning elder is supposed to bring death innit?
