Why do you say that? You can tow alot more than 3.5ton behind a 90 without any trouble.

A short wheelbase, a heavy tow and the snakes mean disaster! Go for a longer wheelbase and they tend to be easier to control.

I dread to think how much stress you guys are putting on the motors towing all this weight. I blew the gearbox and head on Toyota surf after towing a 12" bandit. No idea what the bandit weighed but I spent most of the trip with a nice view of the sky  Boss wasn't happy but it was the bosses idea so he couldn't really complain.

I often hear people say 90's are not good at towing, having never owned a 110 I can't comment on the difference but I have never experienced any issues with mine either with a JCB 8025 and 4 buckets on or a loaded TT105.

Isn't it all about loading, I appreciate a long wheel base is a help but if you take time to do things properly in the first place you won't experiences issues

Very good point Nick. I regularly see farmers towing heavily laden Ifor cattle boxes bulging with bullocks, easily weighing up to the limit, no problems. As long as the nose weight on the drawbar is as it should be and the tow vehicle runs level, then there shouldnt be any worries.
