Which of the 4x4's can pull 3.5t?

Another thing that hasn't been mentioned is weight tranfer.By using an adjustable height tow bar you can transfer say 500kg on to the back axle of the towing vehicle to give traction and stability.

 

250kg on my Dixon-Bate 5 position adjustable :biggrin:

 

So your quite happy to double the rated capacity?

 

What about the hitch on the trailer?

The recommended nose weight for the trailer hitch is 150kg.

 

Obviously on a public road you have to be sensible but off road I will raise the hitch if I think I need to - Getting stuck would be embarassing :001_tt2:
