Yew acquired

Took down a yew today. About 12" at base. Kept the whole log length and it's about 11'. Really nice heartwood. Kept some branchwood too which are about 4" average.

 

 

 

Anybody interested? It's a lovely piece of timber and a crime to waste as firewood!

I have a bundle of Yew sticks approx 4'/5' long x average 2" dia, I guess there would be around 50.
