JCB Toughphone Pro-Talk review

HERE

I havent got a personal experience of this mind but I have found out that their are some BIG changes coming up regarding symbian and android platforms so maybe sim-free and/or PAYG is a failsafe at this current time until things settle down? dual core fones soon (gingerbread?) WTF? :D

I have the JCB as an emergency phone, in my side pocket all the time, the BB stays in a safe place to check at breaks.

the smasung extreme does a great job at being a phone you can rely on. i'v had my one for 18 months or more and it still looks new. it's in my nee pocket while at work, so gets nocked around a lot. i'v done work as a clam diver, and the water never got in, i killed two other phones that way. i'v never needed to put it in a cover, it just looks after it's self. the light on the end has been handy as many a time. but any more then just having a phone to call and text from it will let you down.

Just discovered th eotterbox through this thread ordered one earlier. Makes th eIphone 4 the clear winner i reckon, my replacement one will be going straight into an otterbox defender should keep it safe! Has anyone onhere broken a phone in an otterbox?

Dropped my Blackberry in an Otterbox about 40feet onto a brickwall, it just laughed and bit the legs off a passing Rottweiler :001_smile: Worth having!
