It has just been brought to my attention that you have started this thread with the sole intention of trying to pass one of my fine knot creations off as your own handy work. This is unacceptable. There are certain copywrite issues that have been infringed by your good self. I do hope this matter can be resolved outside of the courtroom. I would like to ask for a bribe of 14 Large Danish pastrys to stop me taking further action.

 

 

 

 

If i die whilst trying out your new knot, I will come back and haunt you by covering every tree you will have to climb in Ivy.

I use that exact knot but with an extra twist in the top since i use OP and i find it a bit stiffer than other friction cords.

Can i twist your arm with 10 pastries??

Nice to see some invention. We should all try and come up with a new knot. Doesnt have to be a friction hitch. I bet its nearly impossible.

I reckon finding a new knot would be impossible, but variations on existing knots are almot certainly out there waiting to be tied.

you right, with less twists though and a slightly different half hitch finish, similar non the less!
