thats what I thought, surely you could go down the road of a rescue needing a rescue needing a rescue and so on

By which time, I would have just felled the tree to save any more rescuers becoming unconsious. The tree would be like a spiders web. Haha. :001_tt2:

Then the number of rescuers available would need to be infinite

Yeah but if they kept getting injured it would look like this ( i dont think the sparta troops would be watching though)

Out of interest have people had many instances of rescuers being deployed?

A friend of mine was up a wysteria covered pine and cut inside his elbow 80% through according to the hospital, luckily missed the major artery by a fraction but still lost a lot of blood. He was only about 30 feet up so I managed to talk him down far as he could while I put the ladder up (which was quicker than putting my climbing gear on!) Got him down on his own system from there. He's back climbing now :) does that count?

Good work, but I dont think it does count. A non qualified person could do the same.

Well done though, a cool head was required more then AR ticket.

...not if you want more work from the company in question, always a tricky situation. But this thread shows, ironically, that there is little value in having an aeriel rescue qualified groundy.
