They are also very picky, they only take seasoned or split logs.

 

Police have just rang and said they have assigned an officer but this officer is on leave from today for a week and will get back to me then :001_rolleyes:

Wow, they made it a top priority job then. How did you manage that. Normal action would be to assign it to some one on long term sick leave.

Jeez , from those pictures these thives dont seem to give a monkeys about being seen !! Some people just dont give a thought about being caught as they know the police are tied because the CPS will not let it go to court .Its deemed as a waste of money and resources .

 

I know this because a member of my family is in the force and gets sooooo frustrated when they have caught a scrote red handed and the cps dont want it going to court !!

 

Really hope the copper assigned takes it serious .

Well when I worked in retail we apprehended a shoplifter who just happened to be an OAP. We insisted that the police arrest and prosecute, which was the companies policy.

 

Desk sergeant rang about 20 minutes after the offender had been taken in to tell us it was not in the public interest to press charges, to which I replied that when I retire I'm going to launch my own one man crime wave as it would not be in the interests of the public to prosecute me. An awkward silence from his end of the phone just about summed it up!!!
