If it saves the twist on groundy backs & complaints of the drag is to long then the £ is worth it imo:lol:

 

Just needs a clip on full body get up to make the whole horse drawn effect complete.

Did you see this in the flesh at the APF? Yes, you could probably make one a lot cheaper as a one off. BUT this has been well-thought out, and well-made. I seem to remember that the wheels alone are abut 40 quid apiece, then there are production costs, patents to apply for, marketing and so on. I'm sure someone from Fletchers could give you a more thorough breakdown of the costings if they felt it necessary.

The way I would see it is how much time and labour will it save me over say a year? Would it save me employing another bod on a job, and will it save unnecessary wear and tear on our bodies. Suddenly it doesnt seem so expensive.

I saw this last week, looks cool, but a bit pricey for me!

 

Funnily enough I was thinking last month about modifying an old wheelbarrow into a flatbed, with uprights, to carry logs say 4-5ft long

£369 + VAT seems pricey at first, but I reckon it would pay for itself on the first few jobs if you had a few biggies coming up with long drag outs.
