recommendations for public liabilty insurance?

Yeah, I've a very basic one with Trust cost me just over £500 and is 5 million pl, no employers liability, cos I only use subbies and don't do power lines railways etc

 

 

You still need employers liability mate. Anyone working under your control needs to be covered.

I use CIS and i have employers liability as well if they are helping you they are classed as employed wouldnt be without it personally.I pay about £750 for my insurance.

NFU have been pants to me never ring me back when they say got fed up of them so cis for most of my motors from now on.

Do you need emplyoees insurance even if the bloke helping you is from another company and not under your own company? I assume he must be under your own insurance.

 

If you are in charge, ie, you set the day and time for the job, and are making more out of the job than him, then you need EL
