How would you tackle this??

Sorted this limb today that had fell onto the caravans just wondered on different views how people would of cleared that. Not sure if the pics will show the size but it was about 10" diameter where it had snapped.

Oh none of the caravans could be moved.

Anchor in the tree, stand on the caravans nibble bits of chuck to a drop zone. jobs a gooden

I would lift it off with my Palfinger.

Its not like travellers not to have a saw, did you get paid and did they throw a dag in with the deal??

Doing it is the easy part tie it off back to the tree, clear all non load bearing limbs and brush and reverse the action it fell in is one of many ways. The hard part is covering yourself so you dont get a phone call saying that it was you and not the tree that dented, scratched of damaged in any way the caravans

That's pretty much what I did, the thing was there was nothing directly above to anchor to, so when it was tied off there was the chance it could have swung back towards the tree, dragging itself along the roofs.So I tied off the other end to.

 

It's a storage place where I keep my trailer.

Well done! I enjoy little jobs like that . It always amazes me how 9 times out of 10 when a tree fails it does less damage than it would if a rope broke
