One job we went to, one of the kids in the house came out with a little toy Stihl and we managed to convince an elderly, (bit dopey) gardener that we used it for intricate tree work and small reductions!!

I used to get asked if i was any good at rock climbing. Plus, clients would always say on the phone " its huge, can you deal with it?" You'd turn up and its like 50ft.

We had an "emergency" job, the woman on the phone said it would take a morning, so we packed up polesaws climbing kits and lowering ropes. We got to the address and were met with an apple tree that would have struggled to reach 8ft. I thought it was hilarious, somehow, the boss disagreed!!:mad1:
