It's utter madness.

Currently with CIS, but change nearly every year. My premium always goes up even though the vehicle is worth less, I'm a year older and have yet another years no-claims.

One of my most lucrative days every year is insurance renewal time.

I spend the day ringing different companies, sometimes talking to sexy-sounding girls whilst drinking loads of tea. I generally save a couple of hundred quid on the renewal quote, so can treat myself to a decent bottle of wine and a steak dinner.

Wish I had to re-insure every month to be honest.:001_tt2:

CIS, NFU, Direct Line are generally OK.

I'm young and insure a private 4x4 for business use.

CIS (or co-operative?) were half the price of everyone else for me AND the only company to offer me insurance to drive any vehicle third party!

Don't think NFU will help you till you are 25 unless a family member has insurance with them... stupid.

my Landy 110 pickup is insured with NFU, reasonably cheap. I'm a young driver as well at 22, however my mother has been with NFU for years which may be why I got a good deal...

well i have a fleet policy with trust and to be honest if i see so much as a penny increase this year i wil be finding another insurer nearly 4k a year to insure 2 ranger's , nissan navara, daf lorry , and my scooby is a little harsh to say the least !! oh and to top it all off to put my mog on there they wanted nearly another £600 quid !

Trust here too there good but there changing underwriters again this year ! they try and sneek stuff on everytime but always get hold of them and tell em i not want incress ! lol did go up after a wee little incident with a trailer and the 90 parting company lol !

NFU are not liking me for some reason but as said depends onwhich branch !

I have my ranger day cab insured for business use ( own goods ) 10,000 miles a year. Its 1200 or so quid fully comp with gladiator. I am 24 now and come 25 I expect a big drop or I'll be p'd off. What I am annoyed with is they will only insure you for 1 profession, which is kind of difficult considering I might want to do other things besides gardening.. What do you put down as your profession?
