I've spent a lot of money on multi bird roasts and top quality turkeys that are fed on special pellets to keep meat moist (think I was ripped off) and I think you can't beat the taste or the smell of a chicken cooking

what is a three bird roast? and you are not really going to have horse are you????

Basically a bird inside a bird inside a bird. Partridge inside a Chicken inside a Goose. All the bones are removed as it is alot easier to stretch meat that stretch and snap bones.

Whatever the restaurant is serving up on xmas day but probably turkey and ham (kiwi staple). No cooking, no cleaning up just eat and leave. Turkeylurkey probably for new years day. Free range organic as they only seem to be around at this time of year. Nothing like gnawing on the wing of a nice tasty bird.

well the three bird roast sounds good, or a beef roast but......not horse ever! who has a good recipe for sheperds pie...you see it here in the states but when i came to england i had the best and i can not duplicate it.. what is the secret?

Sheperds Pie? Fatty meat, none of that trim lean orrible stuff, worcestershire sauce, bit of red wine, tomato paste and a half stick of cinnamon along with all the basics like peas and carrots, garlic and onion if you like them.
