  1. I use a orchard ladder quite often for fruit trees, and a lot for hedges!!! like everyone there is a place for them.

  6. This looks like beech bark disease, we have this here in the states, bleeding and the white on the bark.

  8. This fungi is posted on treebuzz. we do not know what it is, I have looked in all my books and can not find it...however I know you guys are experts can you help? It is on the base of an Oak
  9. this is interesting, I have a client with a large crabapple and someone really topped it badly!!!! it has tons of shoots everywhere shooting straight up. I am going to read some of these articles and see if there is a way to rejuvenate this tree. I will try to get some pics wed. when I go so you guys can take a look at it. any advice is always welcome. keep it up super thread!!!
  10. Hama, I appreciate being apart of this group, have enough people over here expressed interest in a club, I do not see that guy has answered? I would love to have stuff like this over here but it is hard to get everyone on the same page. I would hate for you to spend money to just send one over, before we see if enough people want to do this. I dont think that would be fair to you so why dont we see who is interested first? I will look forward to a walking tour when I come to visit though! I love arbtalk so there will be no hard feelings really, I am glad to just be apart of this forum!

  14. I mean how the bark spirals right and some spiral left? are we talking about the same thing? we do not see much of this in the states.
  15. Can any one explain or recommend something to read to understand the spiraling of some of the trees I have seen on this thread? I have never seen one live and up close. only on this forum, It is interesting and I would love to learn or understand why?
  16. Just amazing, these are really nice shots guys, I am impressed. I am really amazed at how the roots grow around what ever is in the way!
