Bashing the Poplars.

Six Lombardy Poplars on a public recreation ground got a good bashing today. This row of pops’ have history - three total failures during storms and one partial failure a few weeks ago in moderate wind. Decision was made for removal and re-plant (Quercus fastigiata).

 

Today was a joint effort between us, the lads from Adrian Hope Tree Services and the Gartland brothers (owners of that wonderful Matador)...

ahhh i thought that was gary's matador! is an awsome bit of kit, it got me and a 13ton 360 out of the **** when two big jd's couldnt.

Its a 14-24 Rob, dont use it very often but its a lovely lens!

its like a reverse fish eye effect (think that terminology is right:blushing:?), looks well good!
