Really? Sounds like BS! I am on Virgin cable, no problems the only issue I have is with this terrible Vista the Mrs has installed on this laptop.

 

Can the cold effect a fibreoptic cable? Can cold effect light? If so does light from the sun slow down in the cold of space? I thought the speed of light was constant?

Only in a vacuum.:thumbup1:

 

Our broadband seems to be a bit slow too these days.

Last couple of days the site has been slow for me, but in fits and starts. One minute its tediously tardy, then it'll have a burst of life. All other sites seem ok. Cleared the usual, no difference. Right now its behaving, but last night got fed up with waiting and poked a fork in my eye.
