bring your lock jack for those oak removals. i want a go during lunch.

 

i shall bring it and a first aid kit for when you hit deck very fast :lol:

 

what mm is your rope ill put the right clutch in it

I used to use the hitchclimber with VT and a VT with micro pulley on my soft strop.

But now i just use prussik loops with a micro pulley for one hand stuff.

 

However saying that if i had/ when i have the money. I'll be moving onto mechanicals i.e. the spiderjack3 and positioner3. Cant be doing with friction hitches getting covered in poop and tightening up. Does my head in having to stop to sort it out. :001_tt2:

Just moved from VT to Michocan with Hitchclimber. Not quite as smooth, but locks reliably, which I felt was important in these slippy conditions.

 

I think it probably will be smooth when I buy myself a new rope for Christmas.

 

My old Yale Fire has more nicks than a blind fishmongers fingers, and doesn't smell much better.

 

Be a shame to shelve it, mind. We've pulled some big trees over with that rope.....
