That's the problem. Undercutting is not good, but you can't win em all. I pride myself on being professional, clean and recommended for my work.

 

Only problem it's getting quiet on the tree work here.

bit of a dirty trick mate, i have had it happen to me in the past, thats life though. your price seems about right though.

i looked @ 3, beech to remove 1,st 2,are simple straite foward, t/d 1,day , 3,rd all to rigg down tite drive multi stemed ,al staying on 2, including looging it up,£1200 for the job ,guy up road £150 per tree & the timber !!!!!

You set your rates, he sets his, dont lose sleep over a lost job, if you win all the work your too cheap, win 70 80% of your quotes and your going to be o.k

If its any consolation, at 425 for 3men for the day, you'd be under-cutting me considerably, then I'd be starting a thread too (if I could be bothered) Seems desperate times are taking their toll.
