How often do you sharpen ?

Really???

 

I can sharpen a chain faster than I can change one.

 

 

I was going to say you must be quick but at you age, NARRRRR, you just need to improve swapping the chain.

 

You should have a look at this then, I reckon it will be right up your alley.:thumbup1:

 

 

 

 

Seriously though I think Mr Bullman has it sorted. IIRC he can manage 6 months out of an 020 chain!

same here,:001_smile: a chain stays on till its fckd , changing is just lazy & a waste off money:thumbdown:

 

Is this right in all circumstances, what if you have a massive beech in a back garden that has to be ringed and quarted would you still do it with a chain that is not performing well, regardless of how sharp it is!

 

I tend to sharpen at least twice per day if im using the same saw all day, why would any one want to have to put more effort into using the saw, reduce the safety factor and put more stress on your chainsaw!
