How fast do you need to go:confused1:

At £1500 im sure its fine as long as it drives, steers and stops has a decent MOT it will pay for itself in a week!!!

Looks ok to me:thumbup1:

they have a common problem with the injectors. mine had it, once i fixed it, it ran rine. you'll soon know if its got this problem when you take it from a test drive, it will sound like its missing.

as robert said though, how fast do you want to go?

As pictured...

Looks exactly the same as mine! mine is a y reg lwb, had 89k on the clock, month tax but 12 month mot. mine has the 2.5td engine from the earlier transit

at 1500 quid, you'll end up with a smiley transit.... they are good, i've had them but theyre just dated (apologies to owners) basically you get a newer ldv for the same price as an old tranny......

quite a few people on here run them and speak nothing but good words about them, apart from refinement in the cab area lol

ohhhhhhhh, and mr EGS...... good luck with the extra money you will have to pay for one, ohhh also the dual mass flywheel and the injector pump if/when they go tits up ;)

Speed is the last thing on my agenda; rather I've been offered it at that price and since I know nowt about LDVs I wondered if it was a good price. I have driven it before for the purpose it would chiefly be for - shifting logs about and it wouldn't be doing much of that... it would have a pretty slack life tbh.

Just put an 02 LDV plate through the MOT. 12 months of work and all it has needed is a bulb or two.

Don’t get hung up on speed and looks, it’s a work truck not a race car, you are going to fill it with waste, (sorry recycling material).

Buy the van but bid him £1250.00 to start with
