working for smith77 off here again, just had these 2 walnut trees grown with a crown that relys on each other for shape, we just reduced all the pokey out bits all over and removed deadwood and epicormics and lifted the crown by a couple of ft. only got the after pics unfortunatly.

 

 

then we had to reduce some long limbs overhanging there hedge from a beech and gareth seems to think my anchor points are abit small he thought the walnut was bad, then i went up the beech and he thought it was stubid small, so ive got a picture to see what people think it was about 2ft from the top.

 

couple of pics from that sycamore dismantle video of the felling cut and finally got my beast back with a new cylinder and piston :thumbup:

Wouldn't want much lateral force on that anchor James.

 

Fine vertically.

 

I tend to measure the diameter of my anchor points in feet these days, mind....

 

exactly what i thought, this was on a skinny woodland beech, all straight up pretty much, well im over 12stone these days not, must be why we like ladders :thumbup:
