nothing really exciting have just been out in the woods trying to get a bit quicker on the new works machine, practise makes perfect. I've also been putting some more tanks of fuel through the little echo, it gets better with every tank full of fuel through it

What model echo is that? I've been thinking about getting one for a chipper saw, saves throwing the ms361 about so much.

its a CS 270wes the little 27cc with easy start on it, its cheap and seems decent enough, its not going to win any awards but its been cutting up logs ok and for cross cutting softwoods today its been fine. I bought it mainly for small scrub work and cutting rhodies but i find im using it a fair bit as its 2kg lighter than my 346xp

A tall fir from today, about an hour and a bit to get it down to a 60ft wildlife stick. About 150 to start with....badly decayed at about 70ft. I thought I'd send the 200t photo in to Stihl.

Just goes to show how much wildlife there is even at that height in zee treez.

Is that a car park below Reg ?

Interesting to see a wildlife stick being left close to a target area. Obviously not within falling zone I'm sure.

Don't give that shot to Stihl, send it to Husqvarna instead, and let them know what advertising oportunities they're missing !

Keep them coming Reg, maybe (if you have time) set up a 'Coates does Canada' type thread, & keep them all together :thumbup1:
