Acer platanoides dismantle. Very awkward due to being surrounded by new fences in all the wrong places. Did 90% with silky. Only left stubs that I then tidied off with 200t. Felled it at what is seen here. Managed to persuade the foreman to remove a section of fence!

Two day nightmare mercenry job for a guy I have never worked for before, re-reduce Turkey Oak, everything hanging up, rope getting caught, cars, people, noisy builders shouting all the time, horrible.

Thanks, totally pointless IMO.

You said it buddy. Cracking work though. If someone wants to pay for that it might as well be done well.

Nice pics Stevie, feel fitter just looking at them!

I was roasting mate, i havent been biking since i was 19, the lad i was out with is only 20 and really good, we had just been doing basic stuff for a few hours, up hills, down hills, a few bumps but the next bit was about an 800 feet drop down a gorge path, with steps, roots, icy walk ways etc. It was tough going but i never fell off, that was my main aim:laugh1: the other lad was pedalling flat out the whole way, i free wheeled and used the brakes:blushing: lol. My new bike is great though, hydraulic brakes and gas forks really helped me stay on:thumbup1:
