A Macrocarpa that someone had previously taken the top out of but not addressed the width. The during photo is from lunch time and we have brought the branches in by about 4 meters on the left. Drop zones were very tight and there was no decent anchor point. To make things worse the had an asbestos path surrounding the house covered in a v.thin skim of concrete, Nothing broken and a reasonable shape. Funny old job really.

Set up good for you on that Cedar Job Stevie?

Or do you think you could tinker with it even more?

Looked like it went smoothly. :001_cool:

.

i never know what i am going to dave, i get a call and i just go, if i go in the van i can pretty much do any job as it is loaded with everything including a chipper. I dont need to go back for kit and if the stuff needs removed we just big bag it or leave in a stick, we decided to log that stuff on site so to fit more on as it was woodland and sawdust wasnt a problem. And i was only a few miles from home so we just nipped back with the truck, w could of done the job quicker with just the van but we would of busted a gutt and been knackered hand balling stuff. That job took about an hour and a half with gloria than we went for lunch, looked at another job then just nipped back and pulled a few levers. Ideally i want to be able to split on site and remove everything as a sellable product, even chip if i have too, i am not very busy anymore so if i can extract as much money out of each job then all the better:thumbup1:
