josh - no, came back last week as the company i worked for lost a big railway contract and sacked pretty much everyone. not too fussed, but would have liked to have stayed in stockholm. how's it going with you? still enjoying it?

Couple from this week. First couple are Seed collecting and a nice sunshine picture, then a Monster Hornbeam hedge from today.:001_smile:

 

The hedge goes all the way past the Silver Poplar in the background. Sorry about the quality, They're from my phone.:blushing:

What are you going to do with the ash seeds ?

 

I planted oak, beech and sweet chestnut last year. They all did really well. Im trying to decide what to plant this year. There are acouple of oaks that I want to grow from, but I also want something more exotic.

It was a favour for a friend that is involved with a project that gets school kids to sort them all out and learn about trees and seeds. They will be sent off to see which ones are decent and then bought back to go to a little nursery and grown on. I was just involved with the picking. :001_smile:

Mr. forgot his flask this morning so off i pop with some extra chain oil for him and when he said a large thuja next to a house - he wasnt joking, stopped for a bit of feeding chipper and photo taking nb the plate glass bow front window and glass roof to said window

glad your joking their mate, no all arisings stopping with customer:thumbup:, note to newbies - never ever do a job for free firewood, never have never will - its never worth it anyway, youll get nails in the trunk or something goes ary,:thumbdown:

 

 

we have always had nice virgin rainforest to massacre anyway:001_tt2:
