i spent 2 days removing ivy from one tree, 2 loads of chip... looked crap after, leaves were late breaking on much of the tree, where ivy had been removed, but it looks great now... was well sick of that tree though!

Here is a poor, old neglected plains cottonwood (Populas sargentii) that my wife and I did this last week. 120 ft tall, 90 ft spread, 8.5 ft. dbh. Has many, many issues. But its location dictates that it be preserved as long as possible.

dont mean to pick will but where is your second lanyard/climbing rope and why is it above your pulley? surely a receipe for disaster?
