No felling or pruning, just two variagated cv's that I found while out surveying. They're not particularly rare, but a little different to what I usually see. I love the way that even the Tulip's flowers are variagated as well as the foliage.

Liriodendron tulipifera - Tulip tree.

Cornus mas - cornelian cherry.

Never seen a variagated Tulip either, but we do get quite a few variagated Cornus mas up here, nice pics:thumbup:

I may be asking to "borrow" those ehem:blush:

Of course you can - my fees are very reasonable, you know  (joshing).

Do you want me to get some more pics, say, of the whole tree or bark detail?

Gettin rid of a load of woodchip. I spoke to the lads on the Stobart Biomass stand at the AA show and

within a week I had a wagon there to take some away. Not been paid a great deal but covered my loading

costs and I know it isnt the cleanest stuff (loads of conifer etc). Hell of a truck, chipped for an extra 100hp

and all silencers removed. Sounded a monster leaving my place up the long hill full to the brim.

Day 1 of of Cedar takedown.

75 years old, slightly misshapen due to proximity to Birch. The tree had lost a few limbs due to snow damage in the winter, but was in good health. It was spoiling the view.:sneaky2:

2 big loads of chip, stick ready to fell tomorrow. 50m drag which was annoying as I had assumed we could take the truck onto the concrete-like lawn. Put me a few hours under budget with my price, but hey-ho.

Stunt fell was a non-starter due to other trees/shrubs.
