a fairly pleasant couple of days from last week, felling and burning a stretch of monterey pines. planted 19yrs ago as a windbreak for the rest of the garden, i was originally asked last year to reduce them by 30% (didnt happen) then was asked to reduce by 50%.... wasnt really feeling that, so suggested a 100% reduction and thats what we did.

 

best part of the job... smoking out the nextdoor golfcourse for a day and a half.... oh if looks could kill

Some pics, first a nice Cork Oak, next up, guess the age of this beast lime tree, I measured the base, which came to 32 feet, just under 10 metres...! (No work done on these trees.)
