One of todays jobs, slippery as hell, soaking wet day and Acer platanoides to reduce by 40%, they are not the easiest trees to work with, but i reckon we did O.K all things considered.

 

The last (3rd) image is 100yds away, a reduction done by the contractors who no longer have this particular contract! The spec wasnt mine, the associations men decided they wanted it done for fear of subsidence.

todays job - deadwooding a large mature Beech and removing a couple of split out limbs from a Pine and deadwood. The guy I was working for today wa lightly reducing and Cedar of Lebanon from a 34m Bronto Mewp.

Here are some pics from an estate in cheshire . We were working there today .Have been doing all there work for 8 yrs . The pic of the pops is a job thats been on the cards for 2 yrs and still not come off . The pop that has been reduced / topped whatever is the bench mark for the rest ? . The Robinia is over 8ft DBH and the Holly is over 6ft DBH .
